Dr. Lisa Joachim
I first joined the Oakbank team when I was eleven, first as a volunteer, then a veterinary assistant. After I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, I spent a few years in mixed animal practice before I rejoined the team in 2019.
I can’t recall a memory that didn’t involve my dream to become a veterinarian and I’m so lucky I get to fulfill my passion for animals and medicine daily, especially with such an amazing team of individuals who share the same vision. I enjoy all aspects of practice, particularly surgery, dermatology and preventative wellness.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, playing hockey, and most of all, spending time with my ever-expanding hobby farm.
