I have been working at Oakbank Animal Hospital since October 2017. I chose the Veterinary field to be an advocate for patients and help them to the best of my abilities. I am currently enrolled in my 2nd year of the Veterinary Technology program at Red River.
My favourite part of my job is seeing all the different species of animals we care for and all their different personalities that come out!
I have always loved animals since I can remember, especially dogs! I have a beautiful 7-year-old mutt named Mya! I love being outside camping, fishing, and hiking as much as I can.
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Clients are now able to enter the hospital with their pets for their appointments. We ask that clients wait in the reception area while the doctor and their assistant perform the exam in the designated exam room. After the appointment, the doctor will come out and talk to the client in the waiting area.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method. Debit will be accepted if needed.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
3. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE
If you wish to connect with a veterinarian via message, phone or video, visit our website and follow the "Online Consultation" link.
4. OPERATING HOURS
We are OPEN with the following hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - Saturday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm - Sunday: CLOSED
