Dr. Carly Mayo

I grew up in Manitoba and attended the University of Winnipeg, where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology. Upon graduation from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, I moved back to work in a small animal practice. My veterinary journey first began at Oakbank Animal Hospital where I worked as an assistant, so I was pleased to return to the team in 2021 as a veterinarian.

I love the diversity of veterinary medicine and enjoy being able to collaborate with our team members to ensure your pet receives the best care possible. While I enjoy all aspects of general practice, I have a special interest in preventative wellness, dermatology, ophthalmology and surgery.

I’m pictured here with my golden retriever, Wally. He is one of the many pets in my life that have taught me the value of the human-animal bond. We are so fortunate to have animal companions in our life and I look forward to working with you to help ensure your pets live happy and healthy lives!
