I have been working in the vet clinics since 1978, and joined the team at Oakbank Animal Hospital in January 2012. I am a Veterinary Assistant, Inventory Manager and the unofficial kitten greeter.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with both small and large animals enjoying all the learning experiences they have provided. I grew up in the area and it is nice to see clients come in that I know or have grown up with.
Animals have always played a major role in my life and I was taught from very early on that they get looked after first.
After hours I enjoy looking after my yard and am also an Equestrian Canada Competition Coach Specialist, meaning I do some coaching and enjoy taking students to horse shows both locally and in the USA.
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Clients are now able to enter the hospital with their pets for their appointments. We ask that clients wait in the reception area while the doctor and their assistant perform the exam in the designated exam room. After the appointment, the doctor will come out and talk to the client in the waiting area.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method. Debit will be accepted if needed.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
3. ONLINE CONSULTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE

4. OPERATING HOURS
We are OPEN with the following hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - Saturday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm - Sunday: CLOSED
