I chose the veterinary field because I was able to combine my love for animals, my interests in science and medicine as well as being able to have a career that would allow me to constantly learn. I can honestly say I love my job! Graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. This was directly followed by a rotating small animal internship at the Western Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Center in Calgary, AB.
I have a keen interest in surgery and preventative medicine. I also have interests in ophthalmology, dermatology, anesthesiology, ultrasound imaging and emergency medicine.
I love the Oakbank Team! I work with some of the most passionate and hardworking individuals I have ever met. I am also very fortunate to have a career that not only pushes me to learn and perform my best but allows me to form specials binds with our patients and clients. There is also never a dull moment in veterinary medicine!
Fun facts about me: I have two beautiful children and a dog, Xena, that keep me very active. I enjoy working out, cooking and travelling. I am scared of spiders and ticks… and we see a LOT of ticks come at OBAH.
